    Liked: Location is perfect

Disliked: Eventhough it is a very old authentic hotel from outside the rooms are refurbished with not much elegance. In our room the heater was not working the first day and there was a portable heater which did not look very nice. After our complain the heater was on at last. The sink was clogged, and due to low season there was little attention.I dont think i would choose this hotel next time. The photos of the room in booking does not really help to understand the actual room.

Liked: The view was great and made our stay even better. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. We arrived later than expected, but checking in wasn’t a problem. The shower was really good too.

Disliked: The only thing missing was a mini fridge in the room.

The hotel is in a great location and offers a good level of comfort for the price

Liked: The hotel is very centrally located, convenient for the tourist sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were fine. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Generally we were very happy with our stay.

Disliked: The only downside was that the bedroom didn't have a window and the lighting could have been better, particularly over the bed and the wardrobe area.

I left immediately and will be writing to ask for a refund, went to straight to the Crown Plaza

Liked: Full marks for the view, the window opened right onto the Markt

Disliked: I don't know how they can call it a hotel, it's more like a hostel, very basic, but they charge like a hotel, presumably for the view. There is no reception as such, you have to walk through the restaurant and check in at the bar where the surly staff may or may not find time to give you a key and some instructions on how to find your room, no elevator. None of the power outlets in the room were working. The large bed was two singles pushed together. No facilities other than the cupboards in your room. Unable to share pictures as I couldn't charge my flat phone even though my charger was protected they tried to blame me for the problem. I left and made it clear that I would be going elsewhere, now I'm told there will be no refund because they held the room open for me despite clearly being told that we were leaving.
