  Great few days exploring Bruges in its full Christmas glory

  Liked: Perfect location - easy walk from the train station and also into Bruges centre - 10 minutes.

  Disliked: Great studio set up

  Liked: Location was good, 5 mins from main centre. Was adequate size for 2 people.

  Disliked: Very lumpy, uncomfortable pillows. Can hear noise from every neighbour, every car driving past. No soundproofing at all. They wanted to charge extortionate amounts for a slightly early check in or late check out (baring in mind check in was very late at 5pm and checkout early at 10am). There was a microwave and fridge but no toaster or anything to really make a breakfast with.

  just the minimum

  Liked: the neighborhood is nice, the location is great. cafes, restaurants are nearby and the center is only a few minutes walk away.

  Disliked: the owner literary didnt communicate with us. didnt replied any of the messages. And there was a box with these lines "if you forgot stg, no worries!" and in the box there were soap for washing dishes... come on.. should I pack dish soap for a holiday? really?.... And it is not possible to open the window..... but at least, for 2-3 days it is okay, but this everything but welcomeing.

  Liked: Decent accommodation in a great location close to the Bruges city center - this makes the price worthwhile. The room is awkward as the separate toilet has no basin, so one has to leave the separate toilet after ablution and walk through the bedroom and then walk through the kitchen to the separate bathroom to wash one's hands, which is not ideal or sanitary. There was a lack of basic toiletries like complimentary shower gel, no hand soap in the bathroom. Given that we were 2 people staying for 3 days. Felt like the hosts were trying to optimize and reduce costs with one tiny bottle of shower gel. There were insufficient towels for the period - we stayed in Antwerp afterwards and the difference in provision of towels and basic hospitality toiletries was like night and day. I have recommended the accommodation to colleagues with the above provisos. The accommodation description mentioned an oven, which is not included. I believe what they mean is that there is a microwave.
