Location and potential but lots of underlying issues with hotel operations

Liked: This hotel has a lot going for it when it can get it right. Firstly, the location is fantastic just behind the town square. It's been upgrade and has a lift.

Disliked: Firstly, nowhere to store luggage. Access and pin code were confusing until you could work out how to use the door electronic system. There are no TV channels - only streaming so I had no TV over the course of 3 nights. Then the hot water system did not work (going without a shower) for a day. Please note I was charged on top a 40-euro cleaning fee which I believe is not allowed and also $25 euro for damage insurance (or $250 euro refundable deposit) All these are on top of the advertised price.

  Lovely location but very small

Liked: The location is great and close to the Markt place. They responded quickly when we messaged and we were able to leave our luggage prior to checking in.

Disliked: The room/ bathroom is incredibly small, the door to the bathroom is glass and has a hole so there is no privacy and the sink is not inside. The room was very dark as there was a light on the wall missing, leaving wires exposed. There was not spoons for the hot drink making facilities. There was water coming from the balcony as there was a storm.

  Perfect convenient spot!

Liked: Perfect location for the heart of Bruges. We definitely were lucky to get a view of the tower. The Keyless entry system was great, we just had one occasion where the keypad to enter the building was unresponsive. But we just waited a minute or two and tried again, and it worked fine. Really lovely spacious and comfy room, couldn't fault it.

Disliked: Nothing. We had a really lovely time.

Liked: I had a great stay! The room was clean and well-maintained, and the host was very helpful and responsive. The location is excellent, right in the city center, and the neighborhood felt safe. Overall, a lovely stay and I would definitely recommend it!

Disliked: It can get a little noisy on weekend nights due to nearby parties, but it was totally manageable
