Exceptional
Liked: Everything was perfect! The location is very close to Spa, and the whole place is truly unique, charming, and beautiful. The cottages are exceptionally clean, cozy, and comfortable, making the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area, especially travelers and motorcyclists, as it also offers a safe and secure place to park your motorcycle. A wonderful experience overall, and I would happily stay here again!
very relaxing environment, would stay again!
Liked: I loved my stay! I spend 2 nights with my mom in the small 8m2 chalet. Of course it is very small but since we spend most of our time outside we didn't mind. It's like a cute fairytale tiny house. I decided to book this place in hopes to see the shooting stars. And it was the perfect location for this! See picture for reference of how the sky looked (the picture is unedited iphone photo). Staff was friendly and welcoming. Kitchen is very small but has all you need, there is even a gas stove (that you have to turn off). The chalet I booked has a toilet and shower, but it's also possible to use the shared bathrooms which were very clean and well maintained.

East-German hidden gems near Spa! Recommended!
Liked: the East-German style of community spirit and creative building with ready made opjects. There's a pick for every kind of traveler, with or withour family. In overall is the location not bad but a car is recommended, i was by foot and had to travel 15minutes towards a busy road N629 to get there. There are ways to bypass the road through sideways across nature fields and forest ( if going to direction of Spa ). But if you rely on the buses 294/395 which give access towards the trainstations of Verviers or the naturepark Pont de Belleheid, you need to count in the road in the most or less extend of it. Les refuges du chalet is well maintained and very creatively put together. It acts like a camping but the spaces are limited and therefore you might have the chance to interact with travellers there.
Disliked: Nothing really worth mentioning, it's that kind of good place.
An awesome location, super hosts and staff, brilliant accommodation
Liked: This was a superb place to stay - we absolutely loved everything about it, and hope to be back again next year!
