  Liked: Very quaint. Lovely host. Close to the old city We needed a park for our rental car which was part of the deal.

  Disliked: Very tight getting the car in but doable with an extra set of eyes.

  DO NOT STAY HERE

  Liked: Nothing. I guess the area was decent to walk to center

  Disliked: The worst experience ive ever had. We didn't get the place that was in the pictures. It was so small like a closet. The beds were like rocks. Then the owner said she didn't actually "have an account" with Booking.com and demanded we pay her cash instead. On top of that she knocked our door the next morning asking us to pay her right then. When I voiced my concern about being charged twice (woth cash and through Booking.com) she told us we could pay 75% of total for the one night and we'd have to leave immediately. We didn't know what to do so we paid because we had nowhere to go. Again, the place in the pictures is not what you're getting which was the worst of it all. DO NOT STAY HERE.

  Liked: The smaller apartment is very neat and stylish, felt very comfortable. The elderly landlady speaks great English and was very welcoming. Free parking within Zagreb center was an immense plus, city center is 15-20 minutes by foot (there are trams in front of the building, too). We got breakfast nearby in Boogie - amazing and delicious food. For a short trip (one night) great value for money, would recommend!

  Disliked: The apartment was very small - but for a one-night stay perfect. The courtyard entrance was indeed narrow - for SUVs it might get very challenging.

  Liked: Friendly greeting. Lovely little touches in the apartment. Cute balcony with amazing tree in front of it.

  Disliked: A little tricky to find when driving. Once you found it all was good.

  Liked: It was a great location. Close to the everything, but also a little more residential so didn't feel so touristy. The hosts were so kind and helpful. The apartment is homely and authentic. I loved the building it was in and the surrounding green belt

  Disliked: Just a correction on the beds. There is 1 large king size bed and a single bed (no 3rd sleeper couch)

  Great for a city break

  Liked: Very nice apartment, like advertised, with everything you need. Close to city center, with restaurants and supermarket nearby, with a parking place in the inner yard for a regular car. The host was very nice.

  Disliked: Not a problem for us but just to be mentioned: no elevator and a little bit noisy from the boulevard. But it’s central location, so it should be expected…
