  A conveniently located property, but the management’s unprofessional handling of a disputed damage claim turned an other

  Liked: The apartments were conveniently located in Zagreb, making it easy for our group to access public transportation, shops, and the city centre. The accommodation offered a practical base for our five students and accompanying teacher during their two-week Erasmus+ mobility. The location was definitely one of the positive aspects of our stay.

  Disliked: We were extremely disappointed by the management’s unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour. The host contacted us directly via WhatsApp, demanding additional money for alleged damages without providing sufficient evidence, a clear explanation, or following a proper formal procedure. We found this approach completely inappropriate, especially considering that the accommodation was booked for five Erasmus+ students, including minors, accompanied by a teacher. Instead of handling the situation transparently and professionally, the management put unnecessary pressure on us to make an additional payment. With nearly ten years of experience organising international student mobilities across Europe, we have never encountered such treatment. This incident seriously undermined our trust in the property. We strongly advise other schools, educational institutions, and group organisers to exercise caution before booking this accommodation.

  Fantastic place. Great host!

  Liked: Tomislav, our host, was fantastic. He helped to navigate me to the location. He met us when we arrived. He accommodated our early arrival. He showed us around the place. He was available via Whatsapp during our stay.

  Disliked: No complaints. It was a nice place in a good part of town. Would recommend. The courtyard where we entered was a little dark, but it's a safe city.
