  Disliked: Booked 2 rooms and did not realize that they were in different buildings. One of the rooms did not have any curtains or blinds so no privacy and waking up with the first day light. This room was on the 7th floor and the elevator broke down, so for 3 days out of total 4 that we stayed had to climb up and down from the stairs

  Appeared to be Black Mold in the bathroom-- no refund or remedy

  Disliked: Our stay at Irundo Downtown Apartments was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, we were immediately concerned by the poor condition of the building, but we hoped that the apartment itself would be better. Unfortunately, when we entered our room, we discovered a significant amount of what appeared to be black mold in the bathroom above the shower. We contacted the host immediately to report the issue. Rather than addressing it, they told us they would get back to us and then failed to follow up. We did not hear from them again until we reached out ourselves several days later. Given the timing, we were left with the impression that the host delayed responding until our scheduled stay had technically ended, making it more difficult for us to obtain a refund or other remedy through Booking.com. We also spent a significant amount of time on the phone with Booking.com attempting to resolve the situation and reach the host. Ultimately, Booking.com told us there was nothing further they could do. We were even told that our remaining option would be to pursue the matter through the courts in the jurisdiction where the apartment is located. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution others against staying at Irundo Downtown Apartments. I was also extremely disappointed with Booking.com's handling of the situation. Discovering apparent mold in an accommodation is a serious issue, and neither the property nor Booking.com provided a meaningful or timely resolution, forcing us to book a hotel nearby that same night.

  Disliked: - The internet is not working – I couldnt connect my laptop to the Wi-Fi network. - The TV has no channels. - The dishwasher is not working properly, dishes were left with some white kind of layer - The kitchen is extremely poorly equipped – there are no kitchen towels, no paper towels, and not enough proper cookware or utensils. - The apartment is not clean – there was a clump of hair under the pillow in one of the beds, the floors are dirty, the kitchen table is dirty, and the toilet and bathroom are in a terrible condition. On top of that, there are no cleaning cloths or cleaning products, so I can't even clean the kitchen myself. - There is a musty smell throughout the apartment. - The air conditioning is barely working.

  Liked: The view was absolutely beautiful from the balcony. Slap bang in the center beautiful location. Just a let down in other areas

  Disliked: The air-conditioning broke was leaking on the floor and chairs no one came out to fix it whist we was there. I notifyed staff and it wasnt acted opon. The cutlery and cups were not clean. The HDMI cable was broken on the TV and that wasn't acted on either.

  Liked: Location was great. Room was Clean.

  Disliked: Plumbing wasn't good. The faucets in the bathroom sink and kitchen weren't able to control the water pressure. Every time that you try to turn the knob on, a huge amount of water runs and makes you wet! The refrigerator wasn't in a good condition. The room wasn't bright enough. But the picture in your website are very bright. The balcony view wasn't the same as the pictures in your website and I was really disappointed.
