  Beautiful, historical, and comfortable

  Liked: 500 year old property makes you feel like you are walking back in time, but has the modern conveniences tucked away to make it very comfortable and easy to forget people didn’t used to live that way. Parking on site, close to things to do and the owner was a gift with suggestions and advice.

  The beauty and cautions of an old chateau

  Liked: Beautiful grounds. Love the honesty bar in the garden.

  Disliked: Very tight getting into the driveway. Be careful with low profile bottoms of cars. Stairs to our room have very narrow treads. Be careful.

  Wonderful

  Liked: Veronique was a wonderful host and the property is a charming countryside retreat. We stayed in the larger unit with the kitchen. It’s very comfortable and cute, and next to the hot tub. It’s a quick drive to Amboise.

  Disliked: When exiting the property, just make sure to turn left! Don’t follow Google Maps and turn right - leads to a dangerous steep road that is not intended for cars

  Garden, pool carved into the rock... unique and refreshing!

  Liked: We had an amazing experience in this beautiful setting. Part of the accommodation was carved into the rock, making it definitely unique! The garden is well maintain and inviting for reading or enjoying the outside. The pool is also very nice to cool down after a hot day!
