Liked: Host was very friendly and helpful. Location is in the nice countryside but need to take (regular and evenings) bus to get to Bamberg

Liked: Very peaceful and quiet location. Getting to Old Town is a bit of a hilly walk. If you are arriving by car, for some reason the navigation doesn’t recognize “Wildensorger Straße”. It can only find Wildensorger Hauptstraße. If you follow Wildensorger Hauptstraße, it becomes Wildensorger Straße. This changeover occurs right at the property. (See photo)
Disliked: The front of the property is quite cluttered, but seeing how one doesn’t spend much time there, it isn’t really a distraction.
Nice option for a quiet stay in Bamberg
Liked: A nice kitchen and common area for our family. Good views of the sunrise in the morning. Close enough to town, but quiet as well. Owner was helpful.
Disliked: Wifi was a little weak in parts of the place. Since we stayed over a holiday period, the busses didn't run as frequently so we had to walk more from the house. Having a car and German cell phone would have been helpful.
A practical place to stay outside of Bamberg centre with easy access by bus
Liked: Very nice to have a little terrace with outside seating to look out over the countryside. Kitchen was equipped with essentials, including a nice coffee percolator. Shower was good. Bus stop for line 910 is directly outside the apartment. An added bonus is that if you want to get home from Bamberg centre after the last bus there is a number to call and they arrange a taxi for the same price as the bus!! 2.40 per person. A brilliant service and much appreciated.
Disliked: Not much privacy inside the apartment. There is a dividing wall between the two bedrooms but it is only a partition, so noise travels, such as snoring! And the door to one bedroom only slides half way so you can never be fully enclosed. Therefore noise and light from the main room / kitchen can disturb you.

Liked: Lovely location, very convenient for the city (5 minutes by bus). Owner very friendly and happy to advise on the area. Good walks from the property. Very clean and quiet.
Disliked: Interior a little dated ( you have to like orange!)
