  A wonderful location

  Liked: The staff were welcoming. The car park was secure and below the hotel, and it even had windscreen wash available. The room was comfortable and extremely quiet. The shower was powerful and good.

  But overall a pleasant stay and we would recommend to others

  Liked: Character property, easy access to the town which was super, but nevertheless peaceful to retire to and sleep. Large comfortable room. Great breakfast.

  Disliked: After a long journey, the receptionist could have been more friendly. Albeit the breakfast was good, there should have been more tables to accommodate the busy times, chaotic around the food, there was queuing at the two coffee machines - why only two machines for the number? The hotel is big - surely a larger space could have been set aside for this purpose? There was no proper overhead shower and it was a bit of a challenge showering without getting the bathroom floor wet.
