Exceptional
modern and central stay in Bamberg
Liked: modern and sufficiently equipped apartment just a 5 minutes walk away from Bamberg central station and many restaurants and breweries in downtown Bamberg can be reached within 10-15 minutes. clean and spacious room with comfortable bed and modern bathroom, in particular we liked the dishwasher. the check-in and communication was easy.
Disliked: some minor things could be improved like better towels and we didn't have a sponge in the kitchen.
Liked: Perfect location, swift communication with the owner, spacious apartment.
Disliked: The baby bed provided was not comfortable and safe for our toddler.
Good position in Bamberg with safe parking
Liked: Great place in Bamberg, 5 minutes from the train station and supermarket, with parking behind the apartment. There is a Greek restaurant right next door. The check in instructions were clear and timely. The living space is a good size with smart TV. There were basic cooking extras (salt, pepper, herbs, oil), a nespresso coffee machine but no pods. (There is a dishwasher which we didn’t use, but no obvious tabs, but might have missed any). There was washing up liquid, cloth and tea towel. We had enough equipment to cook basic meals. There is no aircon, but there was a portable fan which worked ok for us, (the temperature was 25 degrees plus for 3 days). The bedroom is quite tight for space but the bed was comfortable and plenty of hanging space.
Liked: Reasonable price, well equipped apartment.
Disliked: Cleaner trying to get us out of apartment before checkout.
Liked: free parking, well-equipped kitchen including dishwasher and nespresso coffee machine, comfortable bed
Disliked: weak darkening in the bedroom combined with street lighting in front of the house, some capsules for the coffee machine would be useful.
