  Liked: Ewsy to get from the train station and at a stone throw to the old town. Very friendly staff. Clean and very spacious rooms, with a nice scent to them. Very comfy beds. They offer free tea, which is very nice.

  Disliked: The only thing I would suggest would be to improve the insulation from the windows as it can get very loud since the hotel is by the avenue.

  One of the best of you like a clean and modern hotel with a great breakfast selection. Easy walking distance to city

  Liked: Fabulous breakfast especially all the lovely fruits. Lovely large room with efficient air con. Quirky breakfast area in old bank vault. Free access to tea and hot/cold water at any time. Enquired about an iron on booking.com contact form and it was already waiting in the room with the ironing board. So efficient.

  Disliked: Nothing it was just great.

  Clean room and nice breakfast

  Liked: Room was clean and breakfast was great. The location is right off downtown Bamberg. If you are ok with a 5-10 minute walk to the historical part of Bamberg, this is a quiet and less busy place to stay.

  Disliked: This is a hotel that's not regularly staffed at the reception. I was a bit confused by the self check-in but ran into the housekeeper. We also couldn't keep our suitcases at the hotel while we toured the town after we checked out. Luckily there was a paid locker at the tourist information center.

  Very convenient

  Liked: The hotel was very well located for our purpose - travelling by train. It was an easy walk into the Old Town, and pleasant restaurants were also nearby; indeed there was a Sardinian restaurant next door. The sound-proofing was excellent. We were a little disconcerted by the reception not being manned twenty four hours, but as we had no problems that needed attention that wasn't an issue.
