Exceptional
Liked: The host was warm and welcoming, we had a pleasant stay. There were some issues with parking but he helped resolve them immediately. Location is great.
Disliked: The bed room had curtains but we also used sofa-bed in living room which lacks curtains and therefore it was difficult to sleep. If you are travelling with young kids, make sure to know that there are no safety barriers to the water, but it is also seen in the photos. Parking is bit far, so you have to manage a great deal with loading and unloading.
Relaxing and spacious
Liked: Concordia 33 (Bamberg) Wonderful place to stay! It was so peaceful sitting out on the patio by the river. I will admit it was a bit challenging to find it when we first arrived due to some construction on a couple of streets leading up to it. So we had to drop a person off to retrieve the key and parking pass from the flat before driving to the parking garage across the river. It was a pretty simple walk from the parking garage - it only took about 8 minutes. The patio is marvelous. So relaxing to watch the river and people walking on other side of the river. The flat itself was quite spacious. Three beds, nice kitchen with refrigerator, and the bathroom had plenty of room for the 5 of us. There was no A/C (very common in Europe), but this place is on the bottom floor of a shaded building, so it stays pretty cool in the heat of the day. Also, a small table fan was provided to help circulate the air. Bamberg has such a lovely small town vibe and we enjoyed walking around the town center and visiting the shops and churches. We would have loved to have stayed here longer.
Disliked: Everything was wonderful. We did notice that none of the windows had screens, and we weere concerned that keeping the windows open overnight would let bugs in. But after traveling through several more cities in Germany we realized that it is very common not to have window screens, and bugs didn't seem to be a problem.
Liked: Great place and a great host. House by the river, with a nice outdoor space just by the water, very close to the center. We left behind an iPad by accident and the host was very helpful and organized the shipment back to us. Kudos!
Disliked: The description mentioned there was parking on the property (Bamberg old town is notoriously problematic in this regard). However the truth is, that the parking is free (a pre-paid card is available to the guests), but it is located about 500-700m from the house. Not far, but could be clearly stated. It is possible, though, to drive up to the house, unpack, and then re-locate the car to the garage.

Liked: Awesome place, great location! Perfect for family of 5 with 3 teenage boys. Probably the overall best place we stayed on a 3 week Christmas vacation.
Disliked: Pretty tight getting the car to the property and then parking is a little walk. No complaints though Bamberg is great and would stay at the same place next time
