Great location, but uncomfortable and spidery

Liked: The location was excellent. Check in was mostly easy.

Disliked: Bed was uncomfortable, there weren’t enough full-sized pillows, and I had to remove ~15 spiders from around the room. Only hand soap in the room.

Profit oriented and unprofessional - I had to leave the room right after check-in!

Liked: Nothing, we booked a room with balcony and river and landmark view and when we called them to ask them that they have given us a totally wrong room they said they simply didn't have another one and they will give us a bottle of wine with discount to make it better! We left the place after about an hour of being on the phone with booking.com to clarify the issue.

Disliked: We booked this room because it was promising balcony with river and landmark view. We got a streetview room where people from outside could see inside. We called them and they were extremely impolite, not taking our complaint seriously and telling us they have no other rooms for us. We should be happy with it and they can give us a discounted (!) bottle of wine to enjoy on the common use terrace! In order to reach this common use terrace (the supposed balcony in the description) we had to get out of the whole building, walk around the corner and find the terrace, which was used by who knows how many others. For a mother and daughter travelling alone, I find this unacceptable- to walk outside the building at night if we want to enjoy the balcony we paid for! Due to construction works we were not allowed to pass and go there. I have documented everything and reported to booking.com but they still deny to give us a refund, claiming that we stayed 2 hours and used all facilities - a total lie as we didn't even touch the bed, the bathroom or anything else. I book my accommodation on booking.com since years and I know sometimes the properties might not meet the expectations raised by their description. But it is totally different to get a worse room than getting a totally different one than the one you booked! I left the property as I will not accept this. Such unprofessional behaviour should not be tolerated neither by booking.com nor by us, customers, otherwise we will end up losing our money and risking our safety to such businesses, that obviously care only about the profit!

    Great place to stay

Liked: Great location for the centre of town. Lovely view from the windows and balcony. Plenty of eateries around the venue.

Disliked: The car park is a little way away, and the front door is not well signed, so it took a while to find the entrance.

A beautiful, prime location on the river

Liked: Superb location and the private balcony is the envy of all who walk by! Room was very clean with comfortable beds and a fairly priced mini-bar with good beers. Check-in was easy, except for initially opening the door (gently turn the silver knob clockwise after pressing power on the code keypad and entering the code). Location is across the river from paid parking.

Disliked: Parking is 18€ per day, and there's no breakfast, but it's superbly located and super cute, so still worth it, I'd say.

    Nice location

Liked: Super nicely located and decent value for money

Disliked: It was super hot and no Aircon which is usual in Germany. Some free cold bottles of water would have been good to have during the heat waves

    Excellent location, service and rooms

Liked: Location is super. Nice terrace facing the old townhouse. Lots of great restaurants and bakeries close by. It's pretty much all you can want. We rented all 4 rooms with friends. Great time and experience.

Disliked: Nothing was bad. You are at the heart of things. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
