Liked: Spacious quiet room in the center of the city. Heating system worked well both in the room and the bathroom. Towels were soft. Entry to the location was well explained by staff. Wifi worked really well. The building where the hotel is located is historical and has its own particular charm. Price was reasonable (early November). Guests must consider that parking is not located on-site. The parking lot recommended is not super far away, but pulling heavy luggage through the narrow streets and on the cobble stone roads may appear as inconvenient.

Lovely Hotel Within a 1 Minute Walk from the Dom
Liked: This was a great hotel to stay at for a one night trip to Bamberg for a concert. The hotel is located in the Altstadt within a one minute walk of the dom. It’s in a lovely old building and is within walking distance of the Rathaus, restaurants, shopping and bars. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good as well. I would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing. I really liked staying here.
Good location, amazing receptionists
Liked: Nice location, good receptionists, feather pillow
Disliked: Overall ok. Just the breakfast lady had some coffee problems. For some filter coffee ok, for some instant coffee for some from the automat. Once after getting instant coffee when wanting the filter coffee and extra questions she brought espresso. Colleague having breakfast at different time wanted cappuccino got offered filter coffee….
Bamberg is a lovely place to visit and this hotel is the perfect place to start
Liked: The location was perfect for walking through the city. Rooms spacious and comfortable.
Disliked: It was difficult to find and getting to the parking lot was a bit confusing. This entailed quite a walk with our suitcases. It’s best to travel very light when going to Bamberg

Liked: I had an excellent stay in Hotel Martin, it is very close to the Cathedral and centre which I wanted to visit, the breakfast was good and the staff efficient and friendly
