Fabulous
Excellent in all aspects
Liked: Hotel is very charming, and staying in those rooms feel like staying at a palace. The bathroom is great, big and comfortable. The breakfast is also very good, with good quality and variety of options. The location is excellent, on a short walk to almost all major tourist locations. Parking garage had available spots and was easy to park.
Disliked: Our room had a funny smell that took some minutes of getting used to every time we entered it. Nobody on our party liked the smell of the soap available on the rooms as well (to me, they smelled a bit like cigarettes, for some reason). Our room was on the first floor and there was no lift, so we had to go up one flight of stairs with a LOT of luggage. The staff did offer help, though, which we declined.
Liked: Location is perfect. Lady at the reception in the evening was very nice and provided very many usefull information. Unfortunately I do not remember her name.
Disliked: I was expecting to have a parking at the site. However this wasn't a problem as there is a public parking close by.
Liked: The location is excellent, the hotel and rooms were neat and tidy, and the staff were kind and informative. Thank you Wladimir!!
No elevator access when the room was advertised ad having it was a big problem
Liked: Location was right next to the old town
Disliked: The room we got did not match the description on booking.com! instead of elevator access it was a two-floor walk up; instead of a river view we looked out on side lawns and the back of the hotel. Unexpected lapse into false advertising and inattentive management (no manager was on duty during our weekend stay) for a 4-star rated hotel.
Location was good. Breakfast was just okay, little fruit. No elevator in our area
Liked: Limited fruit selection, bad gummy croissants.
Disliked: No elevator in our area assigned. Had to carry luggage up 3 floors on semi spiral staircase. Grumpy staff on check in.
