  I booked the room for 6 nights but only made it through 2 nights before I left for some place cooler. The owner was empa

  Liked: The location is wonderful in regards to the proximity to old town. The apartment was very clean, bed is comfortable, kitchen adequate.

  Disliked: The apartment is on the 4th floor with windows that open into an enclosed courtyard. I was there during a heat wave (temperatures in the 90’s daily) so the temperature in the apartment stayed between 83-86 F/28.2-29.9C for the 2 days I was there. There is no airflow from the outside so evening air did not cool it down. There is a fan, which was the only thing that allowed a few hours of sleep each night! Something to consider if you’re traveling in the Summer! There is a restaurant/bar on the first floor with live music on the weekends. The music didn’t stop until 3-4 am both nights I was there. This may be a plus for some but it was torture for me trying to sleep, especially factoring in the heat! Otherwise it’s a lovely apartment in a nice area!

  Lots of sites to walk to

  Liked: Location is right in the old city in a building over 300+ yrs old. Kitchen is well supplied with dishes and other needs. Bed linens and blankets were very nice. Bathroom is very nice.

  Disliked: Bedroom is very small and challenging to maneuver around. Unit should have a second fan and an extension cord. Noise from bars on weekends. Balcony is tiny.

  If you don’t want your vacation to be ruined, stay away from here!

  Liked: Location and cleaning is good.

  Disliked: The hosts are quite rude and don’t know how to communicate with guests. They demanded an extra 120 euro payment after our stay based on false accusations. Even though we discussed with them that these accusations were untrue and they said they would review the matter among themselves and get back to us, they never did. (I'm still waiting for an explanation) They’re trying to make the guests look like fools with these baseless accusations. In my opinion, this attitude is a behavior that no one staying here deserves. Everyone should stay away from this apartment!! This isn’t the first time I’ve made a reservation through booking.com; I’ve done it many times before. I’ve even given much higher ratings to apartments with far fewer amenities because of the kind, constructive, and helpful service I received. Other booking.com users will understand just how much that kind of service instills confidence and puts you at ease when you’re visiting a city for the first time.

  Liked: Great location, comfy beds, nice and spacious apartment

  Disliked: Pillows are very thin and the person was kind of rude to talk to when I explained the shower head was broken and that the bathroom door frame was falling out the wall.

  Liked: The location in town is the only thing good I can say about this not-staffed "vacation apt".

  Disliked: There are many access issues, beginning with the all-digital access from the street that did not match the all-digital access to the room door. There are 30 stairsteps to Room 5, too much for my old man knees and baggage. All communication was through Booking. I had a bigger bathroom on my river cruise ship; and the shower is VERY slippery. In the evening the street access pinpad is dark and difficult to work. I LEFT TWO DAYS EARLY because of the access issues and no receptionist and no help w baggage on the stairs. Host did not refund anything... I was aware that the terms did not allow for a refund, but the host could have been a little bit kind.
