Fabulous
Comfortable apartment in good location
Liked: The location is good. It's about a 10 minute walk to everything. It is a full sized apartment and all of the bedding and furniture was very comfortable.
Disliked: We were there in the fall so it was fine that it didn't have have AC, but it needed a fan, the bedroom got pretty warm and was hard to cool down. You have to sign up for a Fussen Pass when you stay in Fussen and the host is supposed to leave the pass for you so you can use the public transportation. Because we signed up shortly before we arrived, the pass wasn't there for us. We had to spend a morning going to the tourist office to get the pass because the host was on vacation and left before we signed up. That is completely understandable, but there was no prior communication about how this was going to work out. We would have just signed up sooner if they had let us know they were leaving and needed it done by a particular date so they could leave the pass for us. We thought it just needed to be done before we got there, so that's when we did it.
Good
Liked: We had trouble communicating with the woman to get the code for the key box. Fortunately a neighbour, Lisa, came to the rescue and called her on our behalf. Later that evening a gentleman, who said he was the owner, called to make sure everything was now ok. We appreciated that. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well placed for the town, train station (10 minutes) and supermarket (5 minutes). Would highly recommend Olivenbauer at the other end of the town - excellent pizzas and even better they brew their own beer!
Disliked: There were two coffee machines. It would be better to have one less and to add a microwave. Also, requires oven gloves to remove items from the oven and a board or trivet to place hot trays on. Would be good to have dishwasher tablets and cooking oil - if only staying for a few days no-one is going to buy these items.

Liked: The goose down bed, comforter and pillow were amazing.
Nice and relaxing time in Füssen and an excellent base for our trips to the famous castles
Liked: The place had a very good location with respect to downtown (5-10 min walk). Everything we needed was there and in good state. The apartment was quiet within a very quiet neighbourhood with comfortable beds and sofa. The dining table had a beautiful view to the mountains (having booked an apartment on the ground floor we did not actually expect to get any nice views). The kitchen was well equipped and had some basic spices. Private parking is available right in front of the door.
Disliked: A cleaning with broom or vacuum cleaner was expected, but we learned about this only in the welcome note, not in the announcement. This is not a big deal but could have been avoided. Second for sleeping with a little kid, the automatic (motion sensor controlled) lights in the entrance hall (with door to bedroom, so light turns on when you want to check on the kid) wasn’t ideal. We were able to cover the sensor with a little carton.

Liked: the location was amazing it is so central to every thing to see including the main town and the castles
Disliked: I messaged the owner that there was no airer or iron in the property that was listed as being there? also we had our dog when we were greeted by the owner as we entered the property on our original booking it said dogs allowed halfway through our stay we were told we had to pay a charge of £40 euros for a deep clean as dogs are not allowed into the property which I left immaculate by the way
