Fabulous
Modern Comfort in the Heart of the Town
Liked: A modern and cosy hotel right in the heart of the town. We arrived by car and were provided with a parking space in the underground garage, which was very convenient and gave us peace of mind knowing our car was safe. The room itself was beautiful, stylish and modern. One thing worth mentioning is the slightly unusual shower design, as it is open to the rest of the room. If you are travelling with friends, this is something to keep in mind, but for couples, it shouldn't be an issue at all. The location is excellent — as soon as you step outside, you are right in the town centre, with everything easily accessible on foot. Overall, a lovely place to stay if you are looking for modern accommodation in a central location!

Not bad but a little inconvenient to get in and out
Liked: Good restaurant, great breakfast and well updated.
Disliked: Hotel didn’t police the temporary parking out front which meant that you couldn’t stop in to pick up or drop off your bags on check in/out. Made it difficult as there wasn’t any street parking nearby so it was a bit of a hike from their parking location to the hotel.

Liked: Fiona at the front desk was extremely helpful to accommodate my family of 6. She made our stay stress free and she was very flexible in meeting our needs while traveling with children. She went above and beyond in helping us and making our stay exceptional. 5 star service. Thank you Fiona. Additionally, the breakfast was very good. Also ate dinner in the same restaurant and that also was exceptional Great variety of food options. Restaurant staff hustled and were excellent and English speaking friendly. Lastly, the hotel location was excellent being located right downtown. Made it very convenient to shop. Also was convenient to take several family hikes directly from the hotel along the river and into Austria, without having to drive our car. It only was a 10 minute car ride to Neuschweinstein Castle from Hotel Sonne Fussen.

Liked: Location was perfect. Close to station and city centre shops and restaurants
Disliked: We booked a “family room” which was two small rooms that could be accessed via a shared door. If you have older children would suggest getting two seperate rooms.
