Great location had lovely stay walked into town for evening
Liked: Fabulous location, friendly helpful host, room and facilities spotlessly clean, very accommodating found an undercover spot for us to park motorbike as it was raining. Breakfast lovely.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike only cost - compared to other places quite high but paying for location - it was stunning right next to lake.
We loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone visiting Fussen!

Absolutely unacceptable experience

Disliked: We had a confirmed reservation, followed the owner's instructions and collected the key at 11 AM. When we returned around 7 PM, a simple misunderstanding about the parking turned into an aggressive confrontation. The owner shouted at and insulted us and behaved completely inappropriately. He also told my elderly father, who does not speak German: "You have to speak German, we are in Germany!” This attitude towards foreign guests is simply unacceptable. We were then thrown out and denied the room we had paid for, despite us having been there and already having the key. Because of this, we were forced to drive another 3 hours at night in the rain. One of the worst experiences we have ever had with accommodation. Avoid this place.
Needs improvements
Liked: Coffee and water were served throughout the entire day. Staff was very kind.
Disliked: The room was very uncomfortable, cheap furniture falling apart. The windows had no mosquito screens and were covered in cobwebs. The cleanliness was also unsatisfactory.
Liked: Incredibly friendly staff! Room was quiet and charming. The theatre is only a short walk (~10 mins)
