  Very uncomfortable with the owner and treated disrespectfully

  Disliked: The owner’s attitude is very unexpected and disrespectful. We booked 2 person room, yes we come with my daughter who is 5 years old, on booking.com there is no option to put in a child under 6 without adding an additional bed, my daughter is not sleeping on separate bed in hotel. According to the hotel policy, child under 6 is free of charge unless you choose an additional bed then you need to pay. Money wise I’m paying the same for 2 adult with a 5 years old child or 2 adult only. Ironically, when we showed up on front of reception, the owner said “ you are cheating “ and VERY LOUDLY. She agrees yes child under 6 years old is free “but what if you bring 4 child with you?!” Exercise me, where this question coming from?! First I didn’t sneak in, I showed up with everyone on from of reception, if you tell me anything I need to pay up charge just simply let me know and communicate properly! Secondly the room including 2 breakfast, I paid the child breakfast 15euro at hotel. Last but not the least, child under 6 is free of charge. What I’m cheating for? I PAID EVERYTHING I SHOULD PAY ANF EVERYTHING IS ACCORDING TO POLICY. And the way how I was loudly questioning on front of everyone is very very rude. Over a decade living in Germany I have never experienced a hotel owner like this!

  Front lake family hotel

  Liked: Amazing location, clean room and familiar vibes. Good quality products at the breakfast, friendly staff.

  Disliked: Rooms are not sound proof, I could not sleep because a small kid cried all the night long in the nearby room and I could hear all. And this unfortunately affected my stay and the wish of a relaxing weekend. Balcony view on a farm, really natural from a side connected disadvantaged like the smell from the other sides. Breakfast choices a bit limited but all the products offered were having a good quality.

  Gorgeous location overlooking Forggensee

  Liked: Lovely room under the roof. The glass ceiling in the bathroom allows one to see the stars and moon at night and scudding clouds during the day. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.

  Liked: Very convenient location between Munich and Bavarian Alps. The room was very clean, a bit simple, but it was completely OK for me as a solo traveller
