Fabulous
Clean, no frills comfortable stay
Liked: Great cozy place a short distance from Neuschwanstein Castle and the beautiful surrounding area. Our room fit our needs for one night with basic essentials needed for a comfortable stay. The pillows were quite flat and did not provide much support, but it seems this was pretty standard for our entire trip around Germany. They had a standard buffet breakfast so got us going the next day for our adventures.
Disliked: Could use more supportive pillows.

Disliked: The breakfast didnt contain food or plant milk for the coffee for vegans.
Liked: The room had a great view and was very cute. I really loved the sauna experience. The location was perfect for the purpose of going to Neuschwanstein.
Great Hotel, Convenient to Castles
Liked: The Hotel Weinbauer was fine for a one night stay in Schwangau. We've stayed there several times over the years and have always had a nice experience. Our room appears to have been recently renovated in a nice modern Bayerish style. The room was spotless and we had a nice view of the Neuschwanstein Castle from our room's balcony. The employees who worked at the front desk reception were very welcoming, coming and going. Breakfast offered many nice choices and was run very efficiently. Lift was available and family dog welcomed. Free parking onsite.
Disliked: The restaurant that now resides within the hotel (not the breakfast service, but the restaurant) was a huge disappointment to us this time. As I noted, we've stayed at the hotel a number of times through the years, primarily because of the great restaurant and service. Ownership has clearly changed because customer service and quality of food seems to have left the building. We would stay at the hotel in the future for sure, but we will skip the restaurant.
Liked: Easy access and not as hectic as staying in Fussen. Great breakfast, too.
Disliked: No complaints!
