Very good
Liked: I had a wonderful stay at Old Kings Hotel in Füssen! The hotel offers excellent value for money, and everything was great for the price. The room was comfortable, the location was convenient, and the overall experience was very pleasant. It's a fantastic choice for anyone looking for an affordable and enjoyable stay in Füssen. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again!
A cozy and thoughtfully decorated hostel in a great location, with a few minor drawbacks
Liked: The location is great, just an 8-minute walk from the train station and 5 minutes from a supermarket. The decoration was definitely the highlight! The heartwarming quotes and soothing background music created such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. You can really tell that a lot of thought and care went into every detail. I even came across an old edition of Lonely Planet’s China guidebook, which I would absolutely love to add to my collection! The facilities were also good. They provided a free towel, and a hairdryer was available to in the bathroom.
Disliked: There was no microwave, which would have been convenient. Also, the duvet cover had a slightly unpleasant smell. It wasn’t strong, but I could notice it when I brought it close to my face.
Liked: In the middle of the old town, close to everything (it's a small town so that's not hard to achieve)
Disliked: There were no staff there, only in the mornings from 8 - 10 to sell you breakfast. The lights were off for two days in the lounge, because there was nobody to talk to fix it. Because of this, the only included thing (hot water) wasn't available. The only showers (2) were in a shared bathroom with one of the two toilets in the whole hostel. They had semi-transparent doors, and you have to time it to get out of the shower and not meet someone there washing their teeth. Happened to me that I came into the bathroom and a naked guy was standing there. On top, no way of heating food, not even a microwave. One of the worst experiences I've had
Only stay if you need to save money, but it is not comfortable
Liked: The location is excepcional
Disliked: The bedroom: there is no locker to keep its things / no curtains in the beds / duvet size is for teenager / pillows are terrible, I would not name that as pillow. It’s like a folded foam. The bathroom: very small. Mirrors for short people. No shower gel, no shampoo, no soap. Not very clean.
Liked: Loved the historical location and ease of walking around
Disliked: Only saw a staff member briefly first morning. She was very helpful getting my town pass early so could make my bus for early tour time
