Fabulous
Comfortable stay
Liked: It was clean and central, big parking lot available
Liked: The location was great being just a short bus ride from Koblenz centre and was easy for us to get to the Mosel Valley. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, so there were no staff to greet us, but we did know that beforehand, so our only contact with staff was at check out. The lady who checked us out was very nice though. The room was clean and comfortable, although not huge or fancy, but it was fine for us for 1 night. We didn't stay for breakfast, so can't comment on that. We would be happy to stay again if we were visiting Koblenz
Disliked: Would have been nice not to have to pay to reserve parking, especially as when we arrived, the car park was pretty empty. Although, to be fair, they say you can take your chances and park free if you don't reserve in advance, which we wish we had done.
Excellent stay in Koblenz
Liked: The room is very comfortable, facilities are modern, the people are very friendly, the breakfast was superb. I would have liked to have stayed longer. It's close to the Moselle river walk.
Disliked: Nothing, was all great.
Nice stop off point on Rhine tour
Liked: Good location with secure parking for bicycles
Great location in the centre of town and great staff
Liked: The incredibly helpful staff, the owner and his son. They allowed us to use their laundry. They drove our bags down to the river for the start of our bike and barge tour. They were super friendly sky.
Disliked: I hate dogs in restaurants! Only had one encounter of this but it was still off putting. And I still can’t get used to the idea of pets having been in rooms before us. But then I suppose it is a European practice. I’m still trying to work out which hotel gave me flea or bed bug bites. I think I will avoid pet hotels in the future.
I would definitely stay here again
Liked: The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel just opened a brand new parking lot across the street (10 euros/night). They had a nice secure bike garage for our bicycles.
Disliked: The shower was a bit tight but the water pressure was great. Also, I’m not a fan of those huge square pillows that seem to be so popular in German hotels.
