  Conveniently located for visiting our friends

  Liked: It was very conveniently located for us, and very clean.

  Disliked: It was a bit cosy, but that was fine because we only slept there.

  Liked: Great all round stay. Warm welcome by the hosts, comfortable room and beds, slept really well, and had a great breakfast. Plenty of car parking available, as well as bicycle storage. Lovely short walk to the Rhein river. Would recommend, hope to be back.

  Liked: Great location 👌 Friendly hosts and very very clean rooms. The room had everything you needed and it included coffe tea and water!

  Disliked: The rooms are a bit small and look like boxes, and for 155 fr per night its kinda expensive for what they offer. Also we had an extra charge for the small dog we brought with us even though I made the reservation through booking and the prize was fixed including the dog. Nevertheless they changed us 20fr more, which is also understandable but ok.

  Will be back!

  Liked: Service and food is amazing! We ate at the Hotel for most meals - breakfast and dinner for our two night stay. Staff is friendly and accommodating going out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of. Our room was located in the original section of the building and it's always fun to see the old European details of fine woodworking.

  Disliked: Need to upgrade bedding - especially the pillows. We thought we had booked two rooms for our party of 3, to find out we only got one room due to some plumbing issues in the hotel. Not the end of the world, but would have been nice to know in advance - it was a little tight for 3 adults.

  Liked: The host was very pleasant and helpful, room and bathroom was very clean with comfortable beds. It is located close to the busy road so sometimes it could be noisy when you need to sleep with open window. However we didn”t experience it. Large private parking is just besides the guesthouse. Walking distance <10mins to the lake Bodam with few cafés and restaurants, places to swim and port of Gottlieben. Railway station just behind the hotel - 1 stop to the city of Konstanz. We enjoyed one night stay. Daugther forgot jacket there so we went back few days after on our way home and jacket was there ready to pick it up!
