  I thought this was a lovely property and would stay here again

  Liked: The hotel has a beautiful setting on Lake Constance and is very quaint. Our rooms were small (as booked and expected), but were nicely appointed and very clean. The buffet breakfast was extensive and fresh.

  Disliked: I believe, because we arrive in mid-October, the restaurant wasn't open for dinner and there was not a single place in the town where we could eat. We had to drive to Konstanz. The promenade is under construction, so the usually beautiful walk along the lake wasn't possible.

  Gorgeous small hotel in the lovely village of Gottlieben, would definitely stay again!

  Liked: Absolutely gorgeous small hotel and location with stunning views of the river, we were lucky to have a sea view room. Although very hot weather the fans were helpful and the temperatures dropped at night. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast ample. Having family living in the village it was the perfect place to stay so we could walk to visit them. Would definitely stay again.

  lovely calm beautiful location for a few days stop-off

  Liked: great little village, lots of character, hotel beautiful, well furnished. lovely bar and restaurant. boat dock right outside for boat trips up and down the Rhine. Expensive but quality.

  Disliked: room very hot - but it was a heatwave - food and drinks very pricey - captive audience - little or no competition in the village.
