  Praktisches Stadthotel

Liked: Praktisches Telefon-Check-in. Gute Lage - zu Fuss nach Konstanz - Parking. Zimmer zweckmäßig.

Disliked: Das Zimmer roch schlecht und der Fussboden war nicht so wirklich sauber. Sonst alles ok.

Clean and close to the train station, but horrible check-in experience

Liked: Right across from Kreuzlingen Train Station, very practical for trips around the region. Konstanz city centre is also very easy to reach by foot (15-20 min walk). The room has a very generous kitchen. There is also both laundry washing machine and a dryer in the room.

Disliked: THIS IS NO HOTEL. THERE IS NO RECEPTION! PAY ATTENTION TO THE CHECK-IN PROCESS You arrive and you find a paper on the main entrance with a WhatsApp number you must contact. The person on the other side will contact the cleaning service; they clean the room, and after that they give you the key. I arrived well after the check-in time, and there were already 3 other guests waiting for their rooms. There was only one person for the cleaning service, and they were overwhelmed with what they had to do. They would not start preparing the room without getting a message from the person in charge. There were guests who could not reach the host on arrival and had to wait with their luggage outside the building for more than one hour. There was also no alternative to leaving your luggage and coming back later.

Liked: Location was excellent. 5 minute walk into the historic streets of Konstanz and 15 minutes to the Ferry Port. Also parking facilities were excellent.
