Liked: We loved everything. To start with the Host was amazing - very friendly and accommodative. Location was fantastic - right in the old town, just a 3 minute walk to the harbour. Lovely restaurants / taverns around. Big supermarket just a short walk. Very close to the beach (depending which beach you want to go, but we were going to Nea Chora one and it was only like a 10-15 minute stroll). Very close (6 minute walk) to the main bus stop where you have connections to the Airport and other Crete cities / popular beaches. Couldn't recommend more!
Disliked: We only regret that we couldn't stay longer!
Liked: Daniel, the owner and host, is a beautiful, generous, extremely helpful human being who made the stay extra special. The location can't be beat.
A real Home from Home and would stay here again!
Liked: Location!! Perfect location, a hundred yards from the harbour on a fairly busy street.. but once you shut the windows and terrace door it was perfectly quiet. You are above Phyllo, a bakery by day and small cocktail bar by night.. what’s not to like!!! The owners,Manolis and Eleonora are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble including Manolis travelling 45 mins in the rain, then getting wet helping us with our suitcases when we left.. a true gentleman… Eleonora will reply very quickly to any messages.. and nothing is too much trouble for the family.. a clean, quiet spacious room ( 201 top floor ) with a a mezzanine.. despite arriving later than we should have, Manolis was there to meet the taxi ( you can’t drive into Kondilaki street ) after midnight to help with our cases …. A lovely week and if we do come back to Crete we will definitely stay here.
