Liked: It’s located in quite serene place, just in front of water, good view

Disliked: Connectivity to Oia, every time we had to pay 20 euro to go to Oia by rental car

Uncomfortable very nosiy and very small but good location

Liked: Good location, we originally booked Cretan Berry but got moved to Cretan Berry Portou. This was a good location

Disliked: Prior to our arrival, we were advised that our room had been upgraded to a larger, more accessible room, which meant we were relocated to Cretan Berry Portou. While the location was great, unfortunately, the accommodation itself was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we found that the room was not particularly clean and was much smaller than expected, especially considering we had been told we were receiving an upgrade. The bed took up almost the entire room, leaving very little space to move around. We had to squeeze past the bed just to access the other side of the room and the bathroom. The air conditioning also did not work, which made the room even more uncomfortable. Another major issue was the noise and lighting. Our room faced a busy courtyard, which remained brightly lit and noisy throughout the night, making it extremely difficult to get a decent night’s sleep. Due to the lack of sleep overnight, we attempted to rest during the day. Unfortunately, this was just as difficult, as reception was located directly outside our room. The receptionist was frequently speaking loudly with other people, and there were constant conversations and people coming and going. The noise was excessive and made it almost impossible to relax or get any rest, even during the day. Overall, although the location was convenient, the room itself was uncomfortable, lacked cleanliness and offered very little peace or privacy. Considering we had specifically been advised that we were receiving an upgrade to a larger and more accessible room, the reality was quite the opposite. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience, and we would not choose to stay here again.

    Nice location

Liked: I really liked the location of the accommodation. It was very close to the Old Harbour, with plenty of lovely restaurants and cafés nearby. Despite its central location, it was peaceful and quiet in the evenings. The room was very clean, and the mattress was extremely comfortable.

Disliked: The main issue was the bathroom design, as the shower and toilet were in the same open space without any separation. Every time I took a shower, the entire bathroom floor became wet and slippery, making it uncomfortable and potentially unsafe to use the toilet afterwards. Another issue was the towel policy. Towels were changed every three days, with an additional charge for more frequent changes. I completely understand and support environmentally friendly policies, but I believe extra towels should have been provided free of charge to help guests keep the bathroom and room dry. I was also disappointed with the communication regarding my departure. I asked the manager about the possibility of a late check-out or paying for a few extra hours, but I never received a direct answer. Instead, she suggested leaving my luggage at their sister hotel and informed me that I could rent a room there for €10 per hour. However, when I arrived, the staff told me that this option was not available. They were also surprised that I hadn’t been offered a late check-out at my original accommodation, as the room was apparently available.

    Perfect

Liked: Nice location that was very close to the centre, however it was very quiet which was nice, especially at night. The rooms where spacious and super comfortable. The interior was beautiful and very practical. Also the room was incredibly cool due to the way the building is constructed which is also a big plus. The manager was extremely helpful and even let us check in early:)
