Clean, too nuch noise, no internet

    Liked: Clean

Disliked: It was noisy, like people walking in the room. Also noise from the wooden roof/floor for those living upstairs. Forget the internet…even your data can give you no access to the internet due to no signal

Disliked: I was staying in the ground-floor budget room, but there is only so much a person can be expected to endure. 1) The front door did not close properly and had to be locked. 2) There was absolutely no natural light in the room. 3) There was no proper ventilation whatsoever. 4) The room was humid. 5) There was a persistent faint smell of sewage throughout the room. 6) There were cockroaches. 7) The window air-conditioning unit instead of properly cooling the room, it was letting heat back in through the wooden window. Also even on low it was very loud. 8) The walls were visibly dirty. 9) The noise from people's footsteps on the stairs and on the first floor was HORRIBLE. The room had virtually no sound insulation. 10) There was no mobile network signal in the room. 11) The Wi-Fi was extremely slow and disconnected approximately every minute, making it practically unusable. 12) The sheet provided as a cover was far too small. I could not cover myself properly with it. It had clearly been cut with scissors to that size. 13) Under the wardrobe, there was a serious health hazard: dead cockroaches, rubbish, and what appeared to be dust, lint and other accumulated debris. 14) There was also a pest-repellent device attached to the wall. Thankfully, I did not see any pests, but its presence was alarming nonetheless, especially considering the overall condition of the room. 15) There was portable furniture (2 tables) stored inside the room, making it look more like a storage area than a properly prepared guest room. 16) Looked like there was mold in some grout areas in the shower. 17) There was only one electrical socket in the entire room, and it was inconveniently located far from the bed. 18) The dishes were stored on a shelf covered with a cloth. Given the presence of cockroaches in the room, this was extremely unhygienic. That’s all I can remember from that horrible experience. I’m honestly sorry for the next guests.

Liked: Good location. This is a ground floor room facing the street so obviously is noisy but I didn't find it bad. Check-in and out was very straightforward.
