  Disliked: Slight issue with rooms facing the back street. Slight cooking smell so couldn’t leave windows open. Other than that zero issues.

  Perfect location for exploring the old town

  Liked: Could not get a room with view of harbour and these rooms are wonderful so had to settle for room on side. However the room and bathroom were spacious and the bed very comfortable. Very clean. Kettle and coffee facilities. Seems to be very common these days, they do not have a receptionist at the desk downstairs but you just pop into the restaurant which is a door within the reception area and someone there will take care of anything you need. I needed to contact the hotel regarding a taxi back to the airport and their response was very quick and I found them very efficient. The breakfast unfortunately is not great. You have no buffet but a selection of any kind of egg and something they call the tower which has some cheese and ham and jams and bread. There is a yoghurt in a bowl with one piece of fruit in it which I find extremely mean. I like a healthy breakfast and I want my yoghurt to have more food than that! No granola no muesli my husband was unwell one night so I ate in the restaurant downstairs, which is affiliated to the hotel and I have to say it was by far the best meal I had in Chania. I just wish we had discovered this restaurant earlier! The staff were fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Unfortunately for the whole six days we were there there was a storm so we didn’t see Chania at its best as all the harbour restaurants were closed. However, the day we left the weather was wonderful and the port really came into its own. It’s a lovely post to visit and I strongly recommend this location which is probably the best you’re likely to find. The fact there is not a receptionist sitting downstairs really does not matter because.Georgia is so helpful and quick to respond the moment you contact her via email or message.

  Disliked: The quality of the breakfast was probably anything that was lacking. It is clearly a costing, but they could do a small buffet so people could actually make a better choice.

  add advises room with quite street view this in not right, very loud noise especially at 5am

  Liked: the breakfast and staff there were great and room cleanliness was good but no one at reception and site manager Gorgia was no help with any issues

  Great place to stay for a short stay in beautiful Chania, get a room at the front b rookie g the harbour

  Liked: Fantastic location right in the Venetian Harbour close to all restaurants and bars and a 20 min walk to the nearest beach. Excellent restaurant and great freindly staff

  Disliked: We had a room in the back of the hotel our only issue was at 5:30 every morning g the refuse collection came for the bottles and glass and it was very loud

  A comfortable and very conveniently located property with amazing views

  Liked: The rooms were very well appointed with wonderful views of the marina and town. The staff in the restaurant below the rooms were helpful, and accommodating when it came to breakfast requests and the quality of everything was very good. The old town is wonderful and the variety of restaurants and overall quality of food is excellent.

  Disliked: There is no proper reception or concierge service available. The restaurant manager and staff were exceptionally helpful with requests, but this did not make up for the lack of a full-time presence. Also, other than your room or the restaurant, there is nowhere to sit during the day and the hotel does not have any pool or outdoor relaxation area. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had very comfortable beds but we had a number of issues when we arrived which should have been dealt with in advance. The designer hand-basin in our room was almost impossible to use to wash your face. The breakfast offered in the restaurant is limited but this is made up for by the spectacular view from the outdoor dining area. There was no information provided in the room about the hotel facilities or how it operates and nothing about what local attractions to see.
