A charming stay in a fantastic Old Town harborfront location, with spacious rooms and friendly staff, though breakfast o

Liked: Great location in the heart of the Old Town, right in front of the harbor. The elevator was a big plus, as many nearby accommodations don’t have one. The room was spacious by European standards and charmingly decorated with antique-style furnishings. The staff were polite and friendly. Although late checkout wasn’t available, they kindly stored our luggage and allowed us to use the lobby facilities. On the other side, breakfast options were limited, the breakfast area was small, and the receptionist wasn’t always available. Having two separate keys for the upper and lower entrances was also a little unusual. Note: Cars cannot access the Old Town, so be prepared to carry your luggage for 5–7 minutes to reach the hotel.

Disliked: Small breakfast place Receptionist not available all time. Not great value for money.

A small, quaint and comfortable hotel with great staff that made us feel at home

Liked: A short walk to the waterfront and in the center of the Old Town. The staff and the owner were very friendly. They accommodated my gluten free and lactose free diet. The breakfast was sufficient enough to start a busy day in Chania, fresh eggs, cold cuts, cheese, honeydew and other fruits, coffee, etc. We loved walking the narrow streets lined up with small restaurants. From our balcony we had some view of the bay blue water. It was lovely to see the water, people passing by and the restaurant below.

Disliked: There aren’t specific complaints. However guests with luggage should be aware that the Old Town is a pedestrian only area and keep in mind and allow time for a walk to the transport. We had 3 pieces of luggage and the taxi driver, per our request, came to the hotel and helped with it.
