  Liked: The location is top-notch. There are three beautiful beaches within walking distance, all just a few minutes away. There is a supermarket right next to the hotel, while Lidl and a large Synka supermarket are also within easy reach. You’ll find a good selection of tavernas, bars, and cafés nearby. I tried a couple of tavernas close to the hotel, and I must say that my dinner at Talos was by far the best. The bus stop for Chania is only a three minute walk away. My room was comfortable and cleaned daily. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning were both decent, and the staff were excellent. A special mention for the bathroom, which was surprisingly spacious and much better organized than most bathrooms I’ve experienced in Greece.

  Disliked: Perhaps I didn’t make the right choice when booking my room. The entrance to my room was located on a terrace that also served as an entrance area for other rooms and as a common space. As a result, I either had to keep the window shutters closed and stay without daylight or leave them open and have people passing by right in front of my room. I also missed a few basic amenities, such as a knife, plate, and fork. Sometimes, I simply want to wash and cut a piece of fruit and leave it on a plate to have between meals, so having a few basic items available would have been very convenient.

  We had a great week here and would love to return

  Liked: Great location by the beach, local shops, restaurants and bus stop close by to go to Chania. Lovely clean and comfortable room with great air conditioning.

  Liked: - great location - big spacious rooms - water pressure is incredible - attached restaurant food is very very good - facilities in the room were good - big beds - good value for money - very good breakfast

  Disliked: - the ac in the room was pointed straight down at the bed so it blew right in your face. Needed to cover it up with a blanket so it blows straight down. Can't stop it completely because it is very very hot in the room otherwise - appliances in the mini kitchen were very old and worn - our bathroom was straight above the restaurant kitchen and it smelled of cooking smoke inside. All of these are very minor inconveniances that all had workarounds. We very much enjoyed our stay.

  Liked: The staff was absolutely amazing, so friendly, positive, and always ready to help and give great recommendations. The hotel dogs are a special reason to come back: well-behaved, polite, and incredibly adorable. The location is perfect, just a 3-minute walk from the nearest beach. The restaurant deserves a special mention as well — the food was the best we had during our stay in Chania. Highly recommended!
