  Liked: The apartment was clean, with a beautiful sea view. We appreciated the welcome gift and the host's polite communication. Check-in was easy and uncomplicated.

  Disliked: We booked six nights but decided to leave after three due to the disappointing comfort and considerable noise. The property is located directly on the busy main road leading to Elounda, with significant traffic noise. Very loud neighbours, particularly at night and early in the morning, made restful sleep almost impossible. Despite the beautiful view, the terrace lacks privacy as it is visible from the road and overlooks the roof of a damaged, apparently abandoned building. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, with the mattress springs clearly noticeable. When we requested an extra blanket for the cold nights (End of October), we were told none were available due to the season and advised to use the air conditioning for heating instead. Surprisingly, an extra blanket was provided on the day we left. The kitchen was cramped and impractical for cooking, with a small countertop oven and three hotplates instead of a proper stove. Overall, the apartment felt rather bleak, cramped and uninviting. We chose this accommodation based on the attractive photos and exceptionally high Booking.com rating of 9.6, particularly the 9.8 for comfort. Unfortunately, our experience was very different. The beautiful view and cleanliness could not compensate for the lack of comfort, noise and poor sleep quality. For us, the property simply did not live up to its outstanding rating.

  Everything was really good. Having breakfast in the terrace with that view was amazing

  Liked: Very cute and clean apartment which I recommend if you want to stay in Elounda and visit the surroundings. The terrace has an amazing view. The kitchen was fully equipped. The host was also very nice and helpful. She welcomed us with treats and a small gift to take home which we really appreciated. We would definitely go back.

  Disliked: It was a bit noisy at night because the apartment is located in the main street of Elounda, but nothing extreme.

  One of the greatest stays I have experienced!

  Liked: Massive balcony in front of the sea, great value for money as this is a whole apartment with kitchen and living room! I liked honestly everything, hosts are so friendly they left us a little treat to welcome us and the kitchen is fully equipped!

  Great place for two people to stay

  Liked: Very well equipped, clean and close to the centre. Great view of Spinalonga
