  Lovely looking hotel, but could do with fixing some issues when you look a bit closer

  Liked: The view from our room was stunning, we had a palm tree and the open Elounda bay. We sat out on the balcony regularly just watching the view. The location is great, a short walk to the many restaurants in Elounda. The pool is nice, although lots of other guests were reserving sun loungers with towels despite the rules against that, often leaving unoccupied sun loungers for hours when other guests were unable to sit down.

  Disliked: We had problems with our air conditioning, I woke up at 3am with it dripping on me. We contacted reception who came to assess, and suggested we turn it off for the night, and gave us a fan. The hotel was full so there wasn't much they could do.. They had a technician come and fix it during the day, however unfortunately I was woken by dripping dirty water again the next night. They told us the room would need to be vacated for a while so they could properly fix it. They moved us to a new room which wasn't as nice, but we saw that they put new guests in our old room that same day (it was opposite the pool so we saw them go in), so I'm not sure if they properly fixed the A/C. They did give us wristbands for the light all inclusive for the rest of the week, but this includes a small selection from the bar, and a buffet dinner, which isn't our vibe, so we were disappointed. We left a day early.

  It was OK, not Terrible, Nor Great

  Liked: The location of the hotel is excelent as in 2 minutes walking distance you are by the sea at a very romantic scenery. The staff was very polite and eager to listen and help in any way they could. The size of the rooms were decent and the breakfast ok.

  Disliked: First and foremost what I would like to emphasize is the that 4 stars hotel in Cyprus are NOTHING like this, I ve stayed in a 3 star hotel in Limassol which was much better than this one. Cleanliness of the room was bad. Sheets were clean BUT covers were stained, sofa in the room was stained, bathrooms weren't very clean, bathroom mixer was broken, water was leaking from the shower making a mess. Toilets were very small and uncomfortable. 1st room we stayed in had an issue with the A/C from the moment we got there and 2 days later it started leaking, stuff was very cooperative and switch us to an identical room next to it which had other issues that I described earlier.

  Relaxing sunny late summer break

  Liked: Excellent pool and poolside area. Great variety at breakfast. Staff were so welcoming and helpful.

  Disliked: The hotel is built into a hillside, so there were many steps. This didn’t bother us, but might be a problem for some. We booked a superior sea view room. Our first room had a partial view of the sea. We asked to change rooms and our second room was perfect with a view across the bay. I’d recommend you specifically ask for a full sea view, if that’s what you’d like.

  Nice place I don’t know if I would go there again

  Liked: Nice room with balcony easy access from parking (the rooms near the pool)

  Disliked: We could hear everything that happened outside because we were near the pool and it’s the main place that people set it was annoying
