  Fantastic location, let down by poor hotel standards and even worse customer service

  Liked: Excellent location, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Plenty of lovely cats around too

  Disliked: Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. Housekeeping was poor. Despite towels supposedly being changed every 2 days and bedding every 3 days, neither had been changed by Friday after checking in on Monday. We had to request fresh ones ourselves. Cleaning was very basic, and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. The mattress was extremely thin and uncomfortable, the air conditioning barely reached the sleeping area, and the pool was dirty with numerous dead insects. Breakfast was repetitive, with very little variety throughout our 7-night stay. There was also extremely loud music from nearby hotels on several evenings, which reception confirmed was a regular occurrence. Beach loungers cost an additional €12 despite the hotel being beachfront. The biggest disappointment was the hotel’s handling of our complaint. Following an 8-hour evening (6pm - 2am) power outage on 16 September, I contacted the hotel through Booking.com while still staying there, requesting a goodwill gesture. My message was ignored. When I followed up after leaving, the hotel falsely claimed I hadn’t complained during my stay, despite written evidence proving otherwise. They eventually acknowledged their mistake but still refused compensation. Booking.com’s customer service ultimately stepped in and provided compensation themselves, while the hotel offered nothing. Overall, a fantastic location let down by poor housekeeping, uncomfortable facilities and disappointing customer service.

  Fabulous 10 days

  Liked: This hotel has the best location in my opinion it’s right on the beach,round the corner from all the bars and has fantastic sea views. Our room had side seaview and pool view, the maids come everyday cleaning,the beds are the comfiest I’ve ever slept in,it has everything you need the staff were lovely.the only negative is the pool isn’t the biggest and there are not enough sun loungers to cater for everyone but all in all it’s a great little hotel

  Terrible - stay away

  Liked: Very poor experience with rude staff members starting from reception to restaurant, poor food both in terms of choices and taste and lack of cleanliness. It stinks throughout the property, stains in curtains Swimming pool is for namesake. Personal houses have bigger pools. No activities for children. A small property with some basic amenities. It doesn't deserve any star. Only good thing is location, near beach and shops. We opted for breakfast and dinner as part of our booking. The dinner menu includes very small number of basic items. Same menu for all nights. No restaurant graded food. The restaurant staff members were treating us as if we are eating there free of cost. When I asked the receptionist for an extra bath towel, I have been asked to wait for next day 7 am for the towel to be changed. This is something I have never faced during my whole life of travel across the continents. I booked this hotel after seeing some good ratings, but my personal experience is terrible, the whole holiday is spoilt.

  Perfect place for teenagers but if your a older family you would probably want to stay further away from that area

  Liked: Nice location & very close to beach

  Disliked: Just a little too close to the party strip as you can hear the loud drunk teenagers coming in early hours.
