  Liked: The hotel was scrupulously clean. There was a great choice of Greek food in the restaurant. The nearby beach is beautiful, and there are some great bars within a short walk - shout out for the Irish bar, Shenanigans, which we loved! Most members of staff were polite and pleasant - some were excellent. We had a spacious suite with 2 TVs, Netflix and Amazon. The hotel has a seafront bar, where you can obtain all inclusive drinks - which was convenient and a nice added extra. It wasn't our thing, but we saw lots of other guests enjoying the afternoon tea and evening entertainment. We had a very relaxing week, and felt that the experience aligned with the cost of the holiday.

  Disliked: The pools weren't heated, and were extremely cold (to be fair, we were there in October, and the temperature was probably perfect earlier in the year). At one of the meals, the meat was very undercooked.. Some members of staff (restaurant manager, one barman and one receptionist) were quite unpleasant. Some shabby areas of the hotel, the 20 euro charge to use the safe in the bedroom, and only half pints of beer offered on the all inclusive drinks package, made it feel a little downmarket at times.

  There are much better options in Hersonissos

  Liked: 1. Location 2. Staff was very lovely (Iannis from reception!). 3. Food was surprisingly quite good

  Disliked: 1. Very (very!) outdated hotel 2. Very poor internet! - its like there is no internet in the hotel at all ( 4Mbps upload! -like we are in 2011) 3. Room cleaning was very bad, and I even got a card taken from the slot while being in the shower 5. Cleaning ladies are very loud and come very early (9AM!) to disturb 5. Room walls are from paper 6. Swimming pool water wasn't clean enough

  Great holiday, average hotel

  Liked: My fiancé and I have just returned from our stay at the Hersonissos palace. It has some good and bad and average points The room was great with a modern twist and a sea view The restaurant was well designed and the food was decent, but the wines were atrocious. Awful. As were the spirits, which I guess are sort of expected on all inclusive holidays, but still disappointing upon taste. Entertainment was dreadful to non existent, for peak season this must be looked at as there was nothing to do after evening meals. A great time was had as we both enjoy our downtime together, but would I return to this hotel? Probably not Phil and Sharon UK

  Liked: Our stay at this hotel left a very positive impression. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The manager was also attentive and always willing to assist whenever needed. Lunch and dinner were delicious and offered a great variety of dishes, especially the wide selection of seafood, which we really enjoyed. The only downside regarding the food was that the breakfast was quite repetitive, with very few changes from day to day. The biggest drawback was the housekeeping. The rooms were not cleaned thoroughly enough, so this is definitely an area where improvement is needed. Despite this, our overall experience was very good, and I would recommend this hotel.
