  Wonderful have the pool and outdoor area to ourselves was an amazing place to visit

  Liked: Amazing place so pretty and perfect for a quiet break away. Food was excellent and Owners so friendly and welcoming couldn’t do enough to make our holiday special. We would love to go back again.

  A lovely family-run hotel with very friendly hosts

  Liked: Iphigenia Mythic Retreat is a lovely family-run hotel, and the owners, Mariana and Christos, are very kind and always available. The property offers 12 B&B rooms, with dinner available upon request. Everything provided is of high quality and classic style, and it’s clear that the host family has invested money, energy, and passion into creating a beautiful space. The hotel is located in a quiet area but is surrounded by many nice tourist attractions. A Lidl grocery store is just a 3-minute walk away. There was plenty of parking available, even though we arrived later than planned at night. Mariana was an amazing host who made us feel so welcome! She provided very helpful information about local attractions, which made planning our daily trips much easier. A continental breakfast, prepared by Christos, was delicious. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The pool is outstanding and comes with pool toys for kids - they absolutely loved it! Also, Christos is an amazing chef. We thoroughly enjoyed his cooking during the dinners by the pool. My family had a wonderful vacation. If we visit Crete again, we will certainly return to Iphigenia Mythic Retreat.

  Amazing value for money, such great hosts!

  Liked: Lovely apartments, all close to the pool with so much space in pretty gardens. Breakfast very good. The owners work so hard for their guests and are super friendly

  An Unforgettable Stay-Felt like Family. Very Highly Recommended!!

  Liked: Our holiday in Crete was truly memorable, made all the more special by the wonderful hospitality of Christos and Marieanna. From our first encounter we were met by warmth and kindness, they are both exceptional hosts and went above and beyond in making our stay perfect! The food was absolutely delicious 😋, Christos is an exceptional cook, my husband especially loved his homemade moussaka and Christos even shared with him how he makes it, that personal touch made every meal that much more special, also the menu had a varied selection and very reasonably priced. The apartment was spotlessly clean, bed and pillows super comfy! The grounds, dining area,bar and pool all very well maintained, always kept clean and pleasing to the eye. Plenty of sun beds as well as luxurious beds scattered around the grassed area. A very tranquil and relaxing environment but not to far to walk to the more bustling strip and beaches. No request was ever to much, they were always happy to help. They both work exceptionally hard to make their business succeed and it shows in every aspect of the experience, they always had time to stop and chat with us and we were treated more like family. Christos, Marieanna and Coconut ( the family dog) have created something genuinely special and deserve every success!! We look forward to seeing you all next year!

  Arrive as strangers, leave as friends

  Liked: We couldn't have stayed in a better place then this. The owners run it with passion and both work very hard, but will always find time for a chat and some personal attention. They will make you feel at home. Thanks Marianna and Christos for making our stay perfect!

  Stay like a resort!

  Liked: Everything was great on our stay. Clean rooms, the staff is very gentle, the property is wonderful, with a nice pool. The breakfast are very nice. A plenty of restaurants near the location and a supermarket in front. Our stay in create was very nice staying here. We highly reccomend your sty here.
