  Chilled and relaxing

  Liked: We booked very last minute due to tour operator letting us down. I arrived in tears and full of stress, the owners calmed me immediately, and I will be forever grateful for their hospitality. Lovely quaint apartments with shared pool access which was lovely in this heat.

  Disliked: Nothing I could of stayed the rest of my holiday here if the room was available for longer.

  Wonderful stay, friendly, hospitable, excellent location, tranquil but close enough to the action

  Liked: It was exceptionally clean, the location was literally a 3-5 min walk and across the road from a beach, there was parking, the lovely cleaning lady came every day and the friendly host, Andreas, was so kind and available to us all the time. We had a wonderful stay - 10 nights. Our apartment was tiny but completely adequate and had everything we needed. The host was generous with towels and anything else we needed. The location is quiet, supermarket across the street and up the road, and yet only a 5 min drive to Hersonissos and 10 min to Malia where it is super lively. Best of both worlds.

  Disliked: This was not an issue for us but the stone walls are quite thick so the wifi inside the apartment was slightly hit and miss. However we quickly realised this was it, so we just either kept the balcony door open or sat in the balcony and connected to the Wifi. Also, it's no bad thing to disconnect now and again! This should not stop anyone from booking this wonderful place. I would most certainly go back.

  The highlight of our trip in Crete

  Liked: The stay at Okirroi villas was definitely a highlight of our trip. The place is just amazing. The apartment was nicely decorated, cleaned every day, and there were even towels for the pool and different ones for the bathroom. Andreas (I hope I remember his name right) is very kind person, always respectful to the guests and always happy to help if you need anything. Pool was clean, and the view from top of the garden was very special. We loved our little terrace where we sat every evening. It's in a good location, outside of all busy tourist villages, bit still close to the beach. Thank you!

  Lovely stay, beautiful swimming pool, Andreas was a great host and wonderful quiet beach

  Liked: Self catering. Location - it was a 20 minute walk to Star Beach which was beautiful & has sun loungers & a beach cafe. It was a long walk into Hersonissos town so used local buses for tavernas & a well stocked supermarket.

  Disliked: It's close to a main road, but the traffic noise didn't disturb us too much.

  Liked: We came for a last-minute anniversary get away here and had a wonderful stay. Andreas is helpful and accommodating and very respectful to guests. We had a lovely apartment, where we were able to watch sunrise, the pool was always clean and the grounds were very pretty, whichever we enjoyed sitting in at night with a drink. Bed was clean and comfy, shower was warm and there was plenty of things in the kitchen allowing us to enjoy meals on the porch or by the pool. We didn't use the bbq however another lovely couple did which was a lovely touch and we would in future. Location is great, we had a car but could stay here without, very close to a beaching restaurant but also only a very short walk to Stalis 10 mins max and slightly longer to Herisonissos but still only about 20mins. We visited the mountains, Sissi and other places from this location and all short drives. We got to the airport and back via his, which stops outside and was euros each. Felt like home from home and would love to return to stay at Andreas' place again in the future.
