    Cheapish but not chearful

    Liked: On site parking

Disliked: Even though it was rated as a 3 star accommodation, this would have been the case if the existing decor and facilities where all top notch. Unfortunately, the flat smelt musty and damp. Even the toilet paper rolls felt damp! Even though the kitchen was basic it would have greatly benefitted from a small microwave. The sealant around the kitchen worktop but especially in the bathroom was black with mildew. This all needs removal and resealing. The bathroom floor was had broken tiles with the majority loose and thus uneven. Definitely needing refixing as their current condition is unsafe with the potential to cut feet. I would not enter the bathroom barefooted. Lighting throughout the flat is poor and on the one occasion I tried to read I ended up using my headtorch to provide proper illumination. A clothes rail as used by market traders to hang up your garments isn't suitable, a cheap simple wardrobe from the likes of IKEA would have done the job adequately. Relatively, the rental was cheap but we wouldn't entertain staying their in future.
