Good
It was ok
Liked: One of the receptionists was very helpful and the other not so much as didn't speak much english. Decent sized room.
Disliked: It is very outdated, the lift so old. Plug sockets next to bed not working and wifi in and out. No proper shower.
Liked: Definitely grand and also elite - I particularly liked the bar in my room and the marble flooring. Swank.
Recommended, good price for value
Liked: The vintage style is what I liked the most. Pretty clean. Kind staff.
Disliked: The sink was clogged and the bedside lamp didn’t work. If I was the hotel manager, I would definitely keep the hotel vintage furniture and style as it is, but I would invest in more maintenance. Here and there you’ll see that something hasn’t been given enough attention and consideration. All in all you get a room in a good spot with a decent price.
Liked: Very good location with parking onsite for a fee. Walking distance from porta San felice. Old but clean. We had a big room
Disliked: People smoke in the rooms and the smell is everywhere.
Nice placement, overall good stay
Liked: The hotel is situated just about 15 minutes from the old city center on foot, and about 3-5 minutes from the nearest bus stop. Rooms are exceptionally spacious, with AC, mini fridge, kettle and a microwave provided. The vibe of old italian movies is also really cool.
Disliked: The hotel is pretty old and wasn't renovated in quite a while, and it shows: bathroom has a lot of wear, it takes time for the lamp in the room to start shining. After the cleaning, i also found a long string of black hair whilst being short cut readhair. However, for the price and place — great deal nonetheless.
Liked: We had a comfortable stay in the hotel with an old structure, cool atmosphere. The bathroom is not so updated but the room and bed were great. We found the hotel easy to reach by bus from the central station with busstop in front of the entrance. A 10 minutes walk to great cafés and restaurants in Via/Porta Felice.
