Great base for exploring Bologna. Breakfast excellent. Ideally situate for train station. Bar wasn’t open at all during
Liked: Bright interior. Good staff on reception. Delightful breakfast - plenty of choice. Bedroom comfortable. Walking distance to and from station and shopping areas.
Disliked: Bar was not open at all during our six days stay her dreams, which was a shame as it would’ve been nice to have sat and had a drink when we returned each evening from our exploring.
Far lower than four stars
Liked: Location is ok, towels changed, mineral water provided every day, breakfast is correct (except the coffee machine), but the rest is simply awful.
Disliked: 1. Bad air upon arrival, window cannot be opened in Room 230. 2. Bed is narrow, no heating in cold late October nights. 3. Keycard failed to open room door 3 times in 4 days. 4. Staff is unpleasant and slow, had to wait 10 minutes at reception desk until served. 5. Bathroom has construction problems, shower is malfunctioning, toilet cannot be flushed because of the toilet seat. Only cieling light in bathroom. 6. No nightstand, no reading lamp.
Liked: You cannot judge the overall experience by your breakup because it is all normalized by what is charged. In short is is love value for money.
Weekend stay in Bologna
Liked: This is a very good hotel located very close to the railway station in Bologna. Hence, the hotel is perfect for both exploring the beautiful city and its surroundings. My room and bathroom had a decent size, there was a small desk, everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was OK with the usual Italian options. I will look for this hotel again in the future.

Liked: Property in a handy location, though rooms facing the road are very noisy with traffic
Disliked: Hotel was fine, basic and did its need. Due to location near bus station and train station late at night you had street people hanging about
