  The best trip we've ever taken with kids - could properly switch off and enjoy the experience!

  Liked: It was absolutely stunning setting that we reached by flying to Bolzano and then taking the cable car up to the hotel. The restaurant food was completely delicious - we didn't always recognise what we were ordering but it was delicious nonetheless. The breakfast was 5 stars - esp the waffle/omlette station! The included Rittencard was brilliant for car free travel. The facilities for children were particularly excellent - the play rooms were much beloved, the special touches with child dressing gowns were a huge hit. The basement room with loads of bikes, hiking backpacks (incl toddler carriers) and prams to borrow for free was phenomenal. We would love to go back!

  Disliked: Very little to improve - perhaps the set menus for the children could have been easier to navigate as there were "off-menu" swaps we could make but nowhere to read these so there was a bit of a language barrier figuring out what we could order instead for the one evening our child didn't like it. A layout map of the hotel would also be helpful!
