  Liked: the location is good. The room is cute but small.

  Disliked: For a 4-star hotel, I expected better service and communication. The staff spoke very limited English, making even simple interactions difficult. Breakfast was particularly frustrating. We had to reserve a time so everything could be prepared “fresh”, which felt unnecessary while on vacation. However, nobody checked our reservation, and we were served food we hadn’t chosen, with no explanation of the available options. We only discovered we could request other items after seeing them at another table. A simple menu would make much more sense. two floor lights in our room couldn’t be turned off at night, disturbing our sleep. (one in the bedroom close to the door and one light in the bathroom floor). finally, the hotel-arranged taxi driver also kept repeating the price in Italian instead of simply writing it down when we couldn’t understand. The hotel kindly covered our parking costs at the end, which I appreciated, but unfortunately, it didn’t change my overall experience. I expected better from a 4-star hotel.
