Very good
Fantastic hotel one of the best on our 10 day trip. Highly recommend
Liked: Great location, just outside Ortigia island but on a beautiful street lined with Oleander trees. A short walk to the bus station and to return our car rental. Our family room was huge with high ceilings and two bedrooms. The bathroom was enormous and had both a bath and a shower. Large mirrors and fluffy towels. Lovely lady on reception too.
Disliked: Breakfast wasn’t great but we went out for ours so it didn’t really matter.
Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: Room was on ground level. No view. Smelt musty and damp. Air conditioning was really loud. Left after 1st night as room was unsuitable and a bit grotty. Very disappointing. Realise the building is old etc, but the smell in the room was awful and we could not keep windows open as the led to a yard.
Good location but nothing else to recommend it
Liked: Very convenient between the railway station and the old town. The hotel is in an elegant building with some nice period features inside.The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The lady in Reception when we arrived, in the pouring rain, was very welcoming and helpful.
Disliked: Breakfast was poor - limited choices, basic quality, items running out and not replenished. Bathroom needed improvement- all chrome fittings were very rusty, tap very difficult to operate, broken fixture in the shower, shower fixing too high to reach. Staff (cleaning and breakfast room) were unfriendly and sometimes quite rude.

Disliked: Bedroom very dark. Not much choice for breakfast.
Nice location and found good restaurants nearby. Finding parking was a bit of a challenge
