Exceptional
A lovely quiet and relaxing beautifully appointed base for exploring magical Ortigia
Liked: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this apartment, which was a wonderful base for exploring beautiful Ortigia. The location made it easy to wander through the charming streets, discover local cafés and restaurants, and enjoy the atmosphere of this fascinating historic island. There were some city wide temporary water supply interruptions during my stay, which were inconvenient, but the hosts were so responsive and considerate in their handling of the situation. Despite this, I have very fond memories of my time here and would happily recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the charm of Ortigia.
Liked: Location and room with access to the central courtyard
Disliked: Low water pressure in shower. And due to a thunderstorm the whole of Ortiga was without water on the last day.
Delightful and convenient accomodation in historic Sicilian town
Liked: Beautiful property whose high quality conversion has retained many features of the original 12C building. High quality apartment in the centre of histoirc Ortygia- a highlight of Sicily's east coast. The nearby convenience store was a bonus. We had good restaurant recommendations from the host.
Disliked: The bed was a bit hard but these are personal views.
