Exceptional
Spacious apartment in the heart of Ortigia
Liked: The location was great. The historical building. There was a shop for essentials downstairs and also a local bus stop immediately outside
Disliked: There were no comfortable chairs to relax in. It was quite sparsely equipped
Surpassed expectations -- master bedroom incredible
Liked: Self catering apartment - coffee/ Tea / water was provided. It was a stunning apartment with balconies, tall beautiful double doors thrown open, coffee on the table on the terrace overlooking the beautiful and ancient buildings of Ortigia. Most magnificent and huge bedroom.. lounge / diner / kitchen also beautiful high ceilings and double doors. In a gorgeous building with internal courtyard, stone staircase,,, all quite gorgeous. The host could not have been more helpful. The location is central, easy couple of minute stroll to the sea, restaurants / great cocktail bars all in the immediate vicinity - excellent location. Nothing not to love - our stay was perfect for two solo travellers. Even the sofa bed was super comfy and made up for me on arrival.. Elegant, comfortable and spacious.. loved Ortigia and this beautiful apartment. Excellent value.

Liked: Perfect location in centre of Ortigia. Shops, restaurants and swimming near by. Beautiful surroindings
Disliked: The only thing we didnt like about our whole experience was all the noise from the street. Impressed by how much noise a small street could make. Especially from 05.30 in the morning. But other than that perfect! Could have chosen it again despite the noise
Bed sheets not provided for all beds!
Liked: The location was very good but noisy very early in the morning.
Disliked: WARNING: we had reserved an appartment with four beds as we are four adults (3 on top floor: a queen and two singles) and one queen on first floor). In fact there was a single bed missing and bed sheets were not provided for all beds; only the two queens. We were advised that we would need to pay extra to obtain bed sheets for the other two beds (36 euros per night!). Do not assume that you will get bed sheets even if there are beds on the appartement. Unacceptable!!
