  Liked: We had a wonderful stay here and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Ortigia. The studio is small but incredibly well designed, making excellent use of the space. We especially loved the unique decorative touches, such as the glass section of the floor where you can see the sand underneath, creating the impression of a little seabed. It gives the apartment a really special character. The fold down bed, which neatly folds away into the wall during the day, was comfortable and a clever space saving feature. The apartment also had everything we needed, including a hot shower, a hairdryer and best of all, an excellent WiFi connection. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from all the main sights, restaurants and cafés in Ortigia. We also enjoyed sitting on the sofa outside in the evenings with a drink while looking out towards the sea. Check in was quick and easy using the electronic key card, and communication with the host was excellent throughout. Angelo was always available on WhatsApp whenever we had a question and was very helpful. Overall, we found this to be outstanding value for money. We stayed here as a couple and genuinely had no complaints. We would definitely stay here again.

  Overall good worth for money

  Liked: Good location, beautiful view, the isle itself is small so you can get anywhere by foot, small walk to the left of the room and theres water access to the sea

  Disliked: Water pressure in the shower, really weak barley possible to take a normal shower, sometimes ants and mosquitos would enter the room, and the room is really small, bruised my legs try to cross to the bathroom which is right behind the foldable bed, which means any smell from there is automatically in your room

  Liked: I thought the suite had a sofabed, but then when he sent us more detail about his place, it was a Murphy bed. The type you pull down from the wall revealing a full size proper bed mattress. Host was generous to welcome us with a bottle of wine and water. Also a photo shared here is the sea literally in front of hotel. Under 5 minutes walk to the swimming area.

  Disliked: Not much. Just remember that it is value for money. Suits the expectation. As long as the bed is comfortable and the place is clean, I'm not so picky.

  Was a lovely spot, tight room but beautifully decorated,, was very much an elaborate caravan in a cave, we were happy

  Liked: Was good location, kitchen facilities were excellent in sleeping area, good fridge, cooker worked.we cooked successfully Was charming bench watching the sea. Good for 2 nights.

  Disliked: Was tight, as basically a bed sit.fold down bed Shower was dodgy. Decor was interesting. Owner was very attentive sending multiple messages a day but we never met him. Parking space was available to unload only, Was told to find a parking bay as owner had agreed car by police car was fine. We got a ticket but owner said don’t worry he would sort it out as car was cleared to park on island. We left the ticket in the room for him to clear.

  Liked: Great location, coffee machine and cafaulas available, Amgelo the owner was very kind.and helpful. Nice place to sleep in after day out near the beach.

  Disliked: The room was small but well-organized. There was one occasion where I requested cleaning and it didn't happen. The mattress was a bit slanted, but I managed., but other than that, everything was great.
