Poor condition of the property and an unpleasant experience with the host but good central location

Liked: Central location, easy access to the town and the apartment had the character, the bedroom is nicely decorated.

Disliked: After checking in, we found that the toilet seat was already damaged. We informed the host immediately, but instead of resolving the issue, we were later asked to pay 70 eur for the replacement. We did not cause the damage and therefore refused the payment request. The property also had several other issues, including cleanliness concerns, non working WIFI and an uncomfortable sofa bed, very small bathroom and tiny sink with very very poor water pressure (you can barely wash your hands) and entrance right on the main road (you really have to be careful when leaving the building-not appropriate for families with younger kids). Because of the condition of the property and mostly because of the way the situation was handled, we decided to leave and not sleep there (altho the apartment was already paid). We were very disappointed by the host's attitude and lack of professionalism in dealing with the problem. Unfortunately, we can not recommend this property.

Nice spacious apartment (with few daylight) in a good location

Liked: Nicely renovated very spacious apartment, great parking option close by, 15 minutes walk to the center.

Disliked: The apartment has few windows and therefore is quite dark which is perfectly fine when spending most of the day outside.

  Volterra 3 nights in May

Liked: My partner and I were in Volterra for our friends' wedding, and the apartment was extremely clean, comfortable, excellent facilities and beautifully designed. Our host was great to speak to and available if we needed anything. It was a short (uphill) walk into the centre of Volterra (15 mins) and had free parking and a corner shop 1 min walk from the apartment. Excellent location and accommodation.

  Very good

Liked: Spacious & comfortable beds. Easy walk into town.

Disliked: The shower floor is flat with the bathroom so the entire thing floods when you shower. There is no sidewalk so it’s tricky to get luggage from the car park into the place.
