Exceptional
The view is worth a million dollars! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and very fillin
Liked: Everything
great option for self catering in heart of old town
Liked: central location, 2nd and 3rd floor apartments have great views and everything is on one floor. Comfortable and clean. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Noise from neighboring terrace restaurant at night, but not fault of Dar Ayur.
Nothing wrong here! Great breakfast too!
Liked: Great location with a cafe & pool tables which was great for meeting young local people.
Highly recommend
Liked: Highly recommend! The ocean view from the windows is absolutely beautiful. The room was beautifully furnished and well-equipped with a small kitchen, hair dryer and fridge. The hosts were incredibly kind and even prepared breakfast for us at 7am because we had an early departure. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality!
A charming apartment beside the old walls
Liked: The location of the apartment was very nice, right in the middle of the old city with a view of the ocean if you stood at the top of the stairs. The apartment had a very unique design with and entrance at the upper floor where the small kitchen and sitting area were located and then internal stairs to the lower area with a bedroom and bathroom. The decor was bold and surprising.
Disliked: There was a lot of noise from the cafe below and also from the streets when people passed by. At some moments we only heard the sea but at other times there was a lot of noise from people. The shape of the apartment and the need to keep the windows open for the breeze meant that noises interfered with peaceful sleep.
Perfect accomodation for Essaouira
Liked: Perfect accomodation to stay in Essaouira, the breakfast was very nice, ocean view was breathtaking, huge apartment for 2 with even a kitchen equipped, nice and clean. If we ever come back to Essaouira we are definitely coming back to this place!
